Short bio:
Kya Garwood is a British Actress born in Yorkshire, England. Her training started when she left home and moved to London to study at the Anna Scher Theatre School. Gaining experience as a stage and screen actor she performed in Stephen Daldry’s West End stage production of An Inspector Calls. She has played roles on several television shows including (BBC Holby) and FOX TV’s (24: Live Another Day) and has been featured in several successful major feature films; (Paddington 2) (The King’s Man) and more recently in (The Marvels).
Kya has also dedicated her time as an Executive Producer in the short film (Baked Beans) and is currently working alongside the Oscar winning production team behind The Silent Child co-writing and playing the lead in her own feature due to hit the festivals next year as well as other exciting projects with AppleTV.
