Darren and Evan Brooks are brothers and a screenwriting team from Chesterland, Ohio, just outside Cleveland. Darren holds a master’s degree in history from Kent State University; Evan studied French literature and biochemistry at Cornell, where he wrote for the humor magazine The Cornell Lunatic. A historian and a scientist, they ground their stories in real research.

Together they wrote The Roosevelt, an Amblin-style fantasy adventure and love letter to Old Hollywood, and A Natural Selection, a psychological thriller in development with director James Bamford (Arrow, The Flash). Evan also creates the key art and animated promos for their projects.
