Carlo Irwin

After serving active duty in the military, Carlo Irwin spent several years in sales, management and administration with New York Life, American Photocopy and Victor Calculators. During that time, Carlo also pursued his passion for theater, performing in several stage productions before finally landing character roles in feature films and television, including General Hospital, CHiPS, One Day at a Time, and Galatica 1980. In 1977, he played himself as Carl Irwin opposite John Wayne in the documentary Home for the Seabees and was a season regular on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson as the panel moderator. Eager to learn all he could about show business, Carlo joined The Streets Of San Francisco as a location assistant, and then War Cat, Forever, Warpath, and The Confessional as 1st Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager and Associate Producer.

Throughout his remarkable tenure as an actor and producer, Carlo has amassed an impressive list of contacts in the entertainment industry and has applied his business management skills in practically every facet of film production with a particular focus on scheduling and budgeting projects for principal photography. He continues to mentor independent film producers around the world, often tailoring scripts to meet realistic expectations and to create an efficient flow of time and resources according to budget. In 2015, he formed Atomic Hollywood Productions to develop a range of genres and so far has acquired twenty scripts with six features and two TV series close to pre-production.
